EGW - European Geothermal Workshop in Norway

The University of Stavanger is proud to host the European Geothermal Workshop (EGW) 2024, an international event scheduled for the 13th and 14th of November at the University of Stavanger, Stavanger, Norway. EGW 2024 offers a unique platform for presenting research, products, and projects related to both deep and shallow geothermal systems. By submitting an abstract, you can gain the opportunity to showcase your ideas, innovations, or results on this international stage, and benefit from networking with members of the EERA Joint Program on Geothermal and other external participants.

  • Prior to the workshop on the 12th of November, the EERA JP GEO memebrs are invited to the hybrid Steering Committee meeting. Please register for the meeting and for the dinner at this link
  • Prior to the workshop, between the 11th and the 12th Nov, an autumn school will be organized, which PhD students can attend free of charge. More info available here
  • Additionally, a site visit will be arranged (15th Nov), allowing participants to explore the new energy center at the UiS campus, featuring 119 geothermal wells that provide renewable heating and cooling to the campus.
