JP Geothermal team is pleased to invite you to the Geothermal Annual Retreat in October! This year, we will have 4 days of activities in the beautiful region of Izmir, Turkey.

Registrations deadline: 31st July. 

 Good to know:

• JP Geothermal supports the participation of two participants per JP Geo member. 
• Accommodation and dinners are covered by JP Geothermal. Flights to/from Izmir and transportation to/from the airport are not included.

Monday 7 Oct

• Travel day & welcome dinner at 20:00-22:00
• Hotel provided by JP Geo

Tuesday 8 Oct

• 8:00-8:40: Transport from Hotel to IZTECH
• 8:40-9:00: Registrations and Coffee Break
• 9:00: Welcome day and kick-off activities at IZTECH (Agenda in the info package)
• 12:30-14:00: Lunch
• 14:00-18:00: Closings, Campus and Gülbahce Geothermal field visit
• 18:00: Travel and Dinner at Urla
• 21:00: Head back to hotel provided by JP Geo

Wednesday 9 Oct

• 8:30-9:30: Travel from Hotel, Geothermal Power Plant visit (Seferihisar) & visit to geological outcrops, hot springs etc.
• 12:00-13:30: Lunch in the area
• 13:30-18:00: Travel and Visit to Ephesus Ancient City
• 18:00-21:00: Travel and Dinner on the coast near Ephesus
• 21:00: Head back to hotel provided by JP Geo

Thursday 10 Oct

• 9:00-12:00: Travel from Hotel and Visit to Balcova geothermal field, Heating Centers, Cooling Units...
• 12:00-12:45: Travel back home to the airport
